Community Engagment

One of the things that will make us successful is involving ourselves in our community and getting our community invested in us. Look out for upcoming chances to show up on the calendar.

On Labor Day, over 50 members showed up and marched alongside other unions and community organizations. It showed strength and built connections with our siblings in the labor movement. Through conversations and meetings last fall and this winter, we have garnered so much incredible support from the community. Many businesses and individuals throughout the area have posted signs on their doors and laws to signal solidarity.

Are you a part of a community organization, religious community, or non-profit? Can you help us demonstrate how our union is important for many people who live and work in this community? We know our members and union take pride in Bloomington-Normal and McClean County, and we want them to know.
